LONDON, December 6,

The "Daily News' " Madrid correspondent says that General Primo de Rivera has banned •mcchanical-hare racing in Spain, on the ground that it would encourage gambling, and serve no useful national purpose. It would also be detrimental to the sport of hunting the hare with greyhounds, which is worthy of protection.
