ALL BLACK TEAM.
APPOINTMENT OF MAN.AGER DEFERRED. (FBESS ASSOCUfIO* TILSOIUU.) WELLINGTON, December 7. The appointment of a manager for the All Black team to tour South Africa next season was considered by tho Management Committee of the New Zealand Rugby Union to-night, which decided to defer the matter for a week, when the advisability of also sending an assistant manager would be considered. In the meantime the South African Union would bo asked if they would be willing to pay the expenses of an assistant manager. It was decided to have one thousand badges prepared for the use of the New Zealand team on the tour.
In reply to a query from Canterbury it was decided to inform that Union that both the Wairarapa and Manawhenua Unions were entitled to have their names engraved on the Ranfurly Shield for 1927. '
