POWER SUPPLY.
CONFERENCE TO BE HELD. Reporting to the executive of the Canterbury Progress League last night conoerning the future hydro-electric supply of Canterbury, in respect of which he had sent out circular letters to various local bodies, the organiser, Mr P. R. Climie, suggested that the matter be the subject of a conference to be held on Wednesday next.
It was agreed that this should be done, the conference to commence at 10 a.m.
