LIBERTY THEATRE.
The highest praise may lie accorded tho production, "Tho Cat and the Canary," which is the main attraction at tho Liberty Theatre this week. The theme of the story is decidedly original, and affords amplo opportunity to tho many thrilling incidents which arise throughout the showing of tho film. The story tells of the will of ono Cyrus West, an eccentric old rich man, regarded by his relatives as insane. Before hiß death they had surrounded him, waiting for the promised spoil, like cata round a canary. On the night of the reading of the will, a night of storm and lightning, the interested partios assemble. This is where the fun starts, for the honse is dark, dismal, and haunted. The incidents are thrilling to the cxtremo, and the whole production ono of intense interest.
