Mr Ormsby-Gore, Under-Secretary tor the Dominions, in answer to a question, said that the discussions with the King of liaq in reference to Iraq seeking membership of the league or Nations resulted in an agreement, which was expected to be signed shortly. Meanwhile he could not reveal any details.
