SHIPPING NOTES. The Kaimanawa is due this morning from Portland and Wellington, with cement. The Tees arrived yesterday afternoon from the Chatham Islands, and is to sail to-day for Waitangi only, via Wellington. The Cygnet is to be dispatched to-night with cargo for Kaikoura and Wellington. The Wingatui is to complete loading to-day for Auckland, and sails via Wellington. The Gale, due this morning from Dunedin and Timaru, loads for Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui, for which ports she „ sails this afternoon. The Waipiata is expected back from Dunedin, via Timaru, on Friday. She loads for Auckland.

The Storm, on Thursday, and the Breeze, on Saturday, are both expected here fro™ the south to load for Wellington and Wanganui. The Corinna iB to take in cargo here on Friday for Nelson and New Plymouth. The Canopus should complete discharge of her \Testport coal to-day, and is to sail this afternoon for Westport. The Kamo should be here on Sunday from Auckland and Wellington, and is to sail the following day for Dunedin. The Parera is due to-morrow from Gis* home. She loads for Gisborne, Waikokopu, Tokomaru Bay, Tolaga Bay, and Hicks Bay. The lonic is to sail to-day for Port Chalmers and Bluff to complete discharge and to commence loading. The Kennedy was expected last night fL°® Wanganui. She loads here to-day for Wellington*. and Foxton.

The Turakina is due this morning from Napier to load. From this port she proceeds to Wanganui and Wellington. She completes loading at Wellington, and is to sail from that port on Sunday next for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool, and Glasgow. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company's Matakana arrived at Auckland on Saturday from London, via Suva. After putting out part cargo there the vessel will proceed on to Wellington, where she is due next Friday. The C. and D. Line advise .that the Port Denison is to take the place of tho Port Sydney, and the former vessel is due at New Plymouth on December 12th from Australia, to load for London. From New Plymouth the Port Denison wil proceed to Auckland, Bluff, Dunedin, Lyttclton, Wanganui roadstead, and Wellington. The vessel ia due at Wellington on January sth, and will sail from there for London on January 14th. Tho Hororata, with passengers from Southampton, arrived at Auckland on Monday evening. Southern passengers left Auckland last evening by train, and those for Ohristchurch are due here to-morrow morning by the ferry steamer.
