INSURANCE COMPANY'S SUIT.
(FftBSS ASSOCIATION tXLXQHAIf.) AUCKLAND, December 6. The Commercial Union Insurance Company was awarded £42 damages in the Magistrate's Court against a young man, E. C. G. Howard, a former employee. „ c After giving notice of severance ol engagement Howard, while still in the company's employ, advised (in tne course of canvassing) some clients to insure in another company. . Counsel for the Commercial Union stated that the object in bringing the claim was to indicate to employees that conduct of this kind was dishonest.
