WELLINGTON APPROVES SCHEME. (PRISS IBBOCIATIO* TKLKJBAM.) WELLINGTON, Deoember '6. The following resolution was carried unanimously at to-night's meeting of the > Wellington Manufacturers' Association: "That the executive of the Wellington Manufacturers' Association affirms the principle of bringing into being a National organisation, with a highly qualified manager, on the lines suggested by Mr F. Campbell at the Auckland conference of the Manufacturers' Association!"

Financially and in every possible direction the scheme was towards the forming of a Manufacturers' Party on tha line* of the Farmers' Union.
