RUMANIAN FIRED ON. (BY CABLE—PREBS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT.) (AUSTRALIAN AND HZ CABLB ASSOCIATION.) (Received December sth, 7.20 p.m.)

PARIS, December 4. The police are investigating the strange statement of a Rumanian, Gregory Marinesce, who alleges that another Rumanian fired six shots at him in the Bois de Boulogne because he refused to undertake to assassinate Prince Carol for a reward of £BOO. He professed interest in the project when he casually met the stranger near the Rumanian Embassy on Friday.
