GOVERNMENT STATISTICIAN'S FIGURES. (FRES3 ISSOCUTIO* TBLSO*AH.) WELLINGTON, December 5. A Government Statistician report states that it now takes £1 12s 2Jd on tho average to purchase what £1 could in July, 1914. Expenditure on food constitutes somewhat less than twofifths of the expenditure of the average household.
