CHILDREN'S FAIR.

♦ At the Wordsworth street children's playground on Saturday afternoon, a children's fancy dress fair was held with the object of raising funds forthe free kindergarten. There were many children present, and the stalls did a. brisk business. The financial result of the fair was most satisfactory. Following were the stall-holders:—Sweets, ice cream stall, Mesdames Lester, Aitkcn, Sewing stall, Miss Lock-wood; afternoon tea, Mesdames Rodda and James: produce, .-tall, Mesdamei Brown and MeClure.
