SHIPPING NOTES. The Cygnet is timed to sail to-night with eargo for Kaikoura and Wellington. The Waipiata was an arrival yesterday from Auckland and 'Wellington. She has Itenotal car(:o and transhipments of fruit for discharge, and is to sail this afternoon for Dunedin. , The Canopus arrived yesterday from Westport with a full cargo of coal for discharge. She is to sail on Wednesday for Westpott. The Wairau is to be dispatched this afternoon for Blenheim direct. ' The Orepnki discharges cement from Tarakohc here to-day and then loads for Wellington, Nelson, Westport. and Greymouth. The Tecs i« expected here late -to-night from the Chatham Islands. Sho is to sail to-morrow for .the Islands! via Wellington.
The Kotiti should get away to-morrow afternoon with general cargo for Kaikoura. The Breeze was an arrival yesterday from ♦ho north. She is to sail this afternoon for Dunedin, Oamaru, and Timaru. The John is timed to load here to-morrow for Wellington, Wanganui, New Plymouth, and Waikato. The Parera is now expected to-morrow from Gisborne. She loads for . Gisborne, Waikokopu, Tologo Bay, Tokomaru, and Hickrs Bay, The Kennedy is timed to load here on Wednesday for Wellington and Poxton. The Gale is to take in cargo here on Wednesday for Wellington, Picton, and Wangaani. . A radio message has been received from Captain Frank Hart, commander of the CorinIhie, which sailed from Wellington yesterday feeek for Southampton and London,' stating that fresh north-west to south-west gales had been experienced since leaving port, and that all waa well on board. ,
The C. and D. Line report that their motor-ship Port Fremantle left Hobart at 9 a.m. on Thursday for New Plymouth, where she is due this morning to commence loading for London. From the Taranaki port the vessel will proceed to Auckland, Gisborne, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Napier. The Port Fremantle is to sail finally from Napier on December 30th for London, via Panama. This will be the vessel's first visit to New Zealand. An alteration in the loading itinerary of the Mahia is announced by the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company. The vessel arrived in the Wanganui roadstead on Thursday morning from Wellington, and will now leave the Toadstead to-morrow for Bluff, from which port she will return to Wellington, arriving there on December 12th., The Mahia is to leave Wellington on December • 14th for Lyttelton and Port Chalmers, .and is to sail finally from the Otago port on December 20th for London, via Funta Arenas and Montevideo.
