SHIPPING NOTES. The Totara is due this morning from 1 Tarakohe, via Timaru, with a part cargo of cement for di» harge. She loads here for Nelson and New Plymouth, and sails via Wellington, The Orepnki, due to-morrow from Tarakohe with cement, is to sail on Monday evening with cargo for Nelson, Westport, and Greymouth. The Waipiata is expected to-morrow from Anckland and Wellington with frnit ex the Tofua. She is to sail on Monday afternoon for Dunedin. The Peninsula steamer Orewa is to sail from Lyttelton for Akaroa on Monday and again on Wednesday. The Parera should arrive to-morrow from Gisborne. On Monday she will load for Waikokopu, Gisborne, Tologa Bay, and Tokomara Bay. Tho Wairan, due to-morrow from Blenheim, is to sail on Monday with general cargo on the return trip. . The Wingatui is expected back from the south on Tuesday, when she is to load for Auckland. The Corinna is due on Friday next from Dunedin and Timaru to load for Nelson and New Plymouth. The Breeze Bhould arrive to-morrow from Wanganui and Wellington. She is to sail on Monday for Dunedin and Timaru. The Gale is to load on Tuesday for Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui. The Storm sailed yesterday for Bluff, Dunedin, and Timaru, and is due back on' Thursday to load for Wellington and Wanganui.

Tlio Kennedy should arrive on Wednesday from Foxton. She is to sail tho same day with cargo for Wellington and Foxton. The John is an expected arrival on Tuesday from tho north. She loads here for Wellington, Wauganui, New Plymouth, and Waikato. The Port Curtis was; an early arrival yesterday morning from Wellington. She has New York cargo for discharge. The Tees should arrivo at Lyttelton tomorrow from the Chathams. She will load again for the islands, and is to sail on Monday evening, via Wellington. Tho West Ivan, which left Nelson at - a.m. on Thursday for Lyttelton, has not yet arrived, having been delayed by bad weather in Cook Strait. Sho is due this morning. Tho Union Company ndvisos that tho Aorangi, from Vancouver and Honolulu, was duo at Suva at 2 p.m. on Thursday. She was to leave ugaiu on Thurshday evening for Auckland, where sho is duo to-morrow. Tho Union Company report that tho Tahiti cleared San Francisco on Wednesday for Papeete, Harotonga. Wellington, and Sydney.' She is due at Wellington on December 19th. Tho Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company advise that their chartered steamer City of Winchester is duo at Wellington on Monday from Capo Town to commence loading for London. The vessel will leave Wellington on December 13th for Napier, Gisborne, Now Plymouth, Timani, and Port Chalmers. She is to sail finally from Port Chalmers on January 6th for London, via Panama.
