ROSE SHOW.
The Queen of the Flower Garden will be on show at the Canterbury Horticultural Society's rose show, which is being held today at the Art Gallery. Very large entries have been received in all classes, and the show will, be the best (or many years. The ladies' decorative classes will be a special feature, the competition for the Eras Cup being productive of keen interest. Special exhibits will be on view from Otahuna, the home of the president of the Society, the Hon. Sir K. Heatun Rhodes, and from "Ham," Mr E. F. Stead's home. Mrs Herbert Brown, of Mt. Thomas, is also stagins a table of tobps for exhibition. The show will be open from 2.30 to 3.45 p.m., fcnd afternoon tea will be obtainable.
