FRESH AGAIN.
« WEEKLY PRESS " FEATURES. ILLUSTRATIONS THAT PLEASE. A few weeks ago St. Louis, Minnesota, U.S.A., had the worst experience in its hißtory, being struck by a violent tornado, which killed 80 people and injured 1200,. and destroyed over 2000 buildings. The destruction done among the city's fine buildings is depicted in a series of photographs obtained by the "Weekly Press" for reproduction this week. They present really startling pictures. Other overseas pictures add to the interest of this week's illustrations, while the events of the week throughout the Dominion are recorded in the usual attractive fashion. Particularly striking are views of a recent demonstration at Auckland by 1500 Girl Guides and Brownies, while the camp of the Ist Battalion of the Wellington Regiment has provided a set of illustrations in which there are flashes of delightful humour as well as studies of the serious business of defence training. The commercial travellers' street day in Wei/ lington is another subject that has lent itself to happy camera description. The serious sawmill fire at Geraldine last week, the Banks Peninsula Show, the opening of the Ellesmere County Council Chambers at Leeston, and many other events of widespread significance are also given a place among the illustrations. Pictorial photography is represented this week by new views from Rotorua and a very interesting set ofjaictures from Northern Queensland. The letterpress section, with its variety of original features, makes up a most entertaining issue of the national family magazine, which will be on sale everywhere to-day,
