DISARMAMENT.
THE GENEVA CONFERENCE. (by cable—mess association—copyright.) (AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. AND SUN CABLE.) LONDON, November 28. Lord Cushendun has gone to Geneva, as successor to Viscount Cecil, to attend the preparatory meeting of the Commission on Disarmament, on November 30th. He said: "Our sole task is to appoint a Security Commission. I think all the excitement this time will be reserved for the Council meeting on December oth." THE RUSSIAN SCHEME. /AUSTRALIAN and N.Z. cable association.') (Received November 29th, 8.25 p.m.) LONDON, November 29. The Exchange Telegraph Agency's Geneva correspondent understands that the Russian proposal to tho Disarmament Conference will be the immodiato conclusion of a pact of non-aggression among all members, and the reduction of all present armaments by half within a decade.
