French Customs detectives have discovered that French and Spanish wines are being smuggled to Germany by the train load. The wine was contained in kegs, and then placed in tank cars filled up as industrial alcohol and passed as such by the Customs. It is believed that the practice has been carried out for three years, and £1,000,000 worth smuggled.
