An action for debt of £376 and 7 per cent, interest was brought befor* Mr Justice Herdman in the Supremt Court at Hamilton by tho Standard Oil Company, of America, against Morton Dugdalo Walmsley, drainage engineer, Hamilton, and formerly a partner in the Suisun Dreding Company, San Francisco. Goods to the value of the sura claimed were sold to the defendant in 1918, but the Judge held that Walmsley had ceased to be a partner in defendant's firm in 1916, and, therefore, nonsuited plaintiff.
