ENGLISH PARK STADIUM.
♦_ — SATURDAY NIGHT'S SPORTS. On Saturday night another first-clase programme of motor-paced racing, handicap cycling, and running will be conducted by the North Canterbury Centre of the New Zealand Athletic and Cycling. Union. Motorpaced cycling will be the big attraction, and two heats of three miles and the final of the five miles will be run off. The high standard of racing which was in evidence about three years ago was a feature of last Saturday's sports, and this week s programme promises to surpass it. Good entries are being received from all the best cyclists and runners in and about Canterbury. Special trams will leave Cathedral square for th» "*«■"—n *i freauent intervals.
