AMUSEMENTS.
EVERYBODY'S THEATRE. "The Tender Hour,'' which is the main pictorial attraction at Everybody's Theatre ihis week, is drawing capacity houses. It is an absorbingly interesting drama, when the unexpected is always happening. In the principal role beautiful Billie Dove scores an emphatic success. It tells of the attempts of Prince Boris Androvski to force Jfarcia Kane into an unwelcome marmge. This he succeeds in doing, after telling her that Wallace McKenzie, her lover, is dead. Shortly after the ceremony the loveTs again meet, and flee through the woods, but are caught. Then comes the climax, and the solution to an interesting picture. Supporting this is a screamingly funny comedy, "Battling Butler," featuring the sadeyed, immovable Buster Keaton. Buster goes camping. He falls in love with the first girl he meets, winning her hand at the expense of swearing that he i 3 "Battling Butler," the light-weight champion. One cannot but appreciate to the full "Buster's" acting in this picture. His superlative self-control and power of extracting the maximum of fun out of a humorous situation, aided by the continued attention of his obsequious valet, fill the story with a wealth of side-splitting mirth.
