HOME FURNISHING HINTS.
BY "OELIA." No. 9 VARIETY IN RUGS. The charm and character of a room depends as closely on its rugs as on its wall-paper or its hangings. It was an old reproach against Seagrass rugs that they lacked the variety that enables one to suit the nigs to the character of the room they cover. With the advent of ruga in Durograss, that trouble is ended and the problem is merely to select from the varied designs, rugs most suited to the existing decorative scheme. Always dstinctive always artistic, and not the least of their advantages, surprisingly inexpensive, these new rugs are as suitable for the modern sitting room as for the open porch. Whether your scheme requires squaro or oval rugs (the oval ones, by the way, have radial reinforcing strips), Durograss will achieve effects that are both artistic and out of the ordinary. Most of the best stores can supply rugs with the Durograss label. —6
