LATE COLONEL ACTONADAMS.
THE FUNERALThe funeral of the late Colonel Percy Morland Acton-Adams took place at Kaikoura.yesterday afternoon,- "tore being a large and representative cortege, including many from the district. The floral tributes were.numerous, including wreaths from theiUnterbnrv Regiment, officers of the HeadStiff, Southern Command, the Snty Council, Hospital Board and other Associations with which he had been connected. . , , The pall-bearers were eight of uie employees of Colonel Acton-Adams A service was held in St. *•««•■ Church, the Bee. Mr Bedwell conducting a most impressive service WW* concluded with the Dead Mareb m »nl. The church was crowded with sympathisers. A short service was also conducted at the graveside by Mr Bedwell, where there was a large assemblage.
