It is announced that the United States will challenge in the American zone for the Davis Cup. The decision, which must yet be approved by the. Executive Committee of the United States Lawn- Tennis Association, ■> is based on the desire to make it unnecessary for the team to'sail for Europe in March, which would have been essential if the challenge was in the European zone. Tho team will thus not sail until June. INTER-STATE MATCHES. '(AUSIIULUS AND S.Z CABLS ASSOCIATION.), (Received November 26th, 1.24 a.m.) MELBOURNE, November 25.
