DESTROYED BY FIRE.
STOLEN CAR FOUND. The taxi belonging to Samuel Aldo, taxi-driver, 223 Hereford street, which was stolen from Latimer square on Tuesday night, was discovered, destroyed by fire, with its radiator in a gorse bush, in Greer's road, Waimairi. vesterday. * The body and upholstery of the car were totally destroyed, and it was apparent that the fire was confined to the car itself by the metal bodywork, thus preventing the gorse hedge from catching fire. . Police officials had nothing further to announce last night.
