LIBERTY THEATRE. Unquestionably tho most beautiful woman on the screen at the present time, Xorms .Shearer, is starring in "Upstage at tho Liberty Theatre this week. Jt tells of a girl who was under the impression that she was the biggest attraction appearing on the modern st3ce. In reality she was, in stage parlance, a "dud." Only after adventurous times behind the scenes, in which she goes through periods of pathos, humour, and. romance, does she realise the true state of affairs. _ ti The main attraction is "Dance Magic, which deals with u theme which is considered by manv to bo the greatest of tho world a problems as far as youth is concerned. It is a drama of what -s generally represented to those in other countries, and. doubtless, in the United States also, as a mad whirl ot tne wheel of life in the fashionable centres of New York »"■;«>•■ While some scenes are heavily charged witn a purelv dramatic atmosphere, the product r has been generous in others on the comedy side with excellent humorous relict.
