QUEEN'S THEATRE. A most delightful and refreshing 'jomotiydrama. "Meet the Prince,'' is the ir.aia feature at the Queeu's Theatre this week, and so far it has proved an undoubted success. The theme is decidedly unusual, and .rives scope for some sensational incidents. Prince Nicholas Alexnv lies asleep on a fire escape landing of an East Side tenement :n Xcw York. A conference is being held in the palace, and a footman staggers in shouting "Kevolution!'' .Ruitians appear on the scene and are held oiT by Xicholas, allowing the women lo escape. An invitation is received by the Prince to the home of Cynthia Stevens, a rich society g r!. Being hard-pressed for money to pay his rent, he «el! 3 a gold plaque, and informs the General that if Miss .Stevens will have lum, he will wed her. . At that moment, Annabelle. Ford, carrying a framed painting, enters the room. Nicholas is interested and tells himself he lias met the one girl at las f . Princess Sophia and Cynthia meet at the Eitz. Sophia has been teaching Mr Paget to become a bridegroom for Annabelle -Ford, but Nicholas is unaware of this. The latter meets Annabelle, who receives him coldly. Cynthia fails '.o attract Nicholas and Anniil.c.'ic announces that she wiil wed Mr Paget i: lie keeps on improving. Nicholas accepts the position of butler in the Paget household, and subsequent erents turn out favourable for Nicholas and Annabelle, and he carries her off to a village in a car, nn/1 obtains a marriage license. Sophia hits captured Mr Paget. Joseph Schildkraut, as the Prince and Marguerite do la Motte as Annabelle have characters lo portray that give them plenty of scope. Of this tlirv take full advantage. Their combined efforts are full of rich acting, and their comedy work superb. As Cynthia Stevens, Julia Fay.; always impresses ono with her excellent acting. Supporting i« "Wild to Go." a good 'Western picture, and several supplementary lealures.
