SCHOOL OF ART.
SKETCH CLUB. At the final meeting of the Canterbury College School of Art Sketch Club there was u fair attendance. Mr L. H. Booth, who was the critic for the evening, stressed tho necessity for clearness of aim. The competition for the best set of six studies was well patronised, there being fivo entries in the senior, and two in the junior section. The prizes were as follows: —Best set of six studies (senior), Miss 0. Spencer-Bower; best set of six studies (junior). Miss M. Rasmussen; Estuary sketch, Mr Russell Clarke; illustration for Maori legend, Miss 0. Spencer-Bower; design for toys, Miss Vera Tollard.
