AUCKLAND BUSES.
♦ COMPENSATION COURT'S DECISION. (pbjess association teleqeav.) • AUCKLAND, November 19. The Compensation Court decided that the Auckland City Council shall pay £19,902 compensation to the G.O.C. bus service and supplementary fleet taken over by order of the Supreme Court in August last, being £16,427 to the Mount Eden. Motor Omnibus Co., for 35 G.O.C. buses and garage, etc., £3475 for nine buses, garage, etc., formerly owned by E. H. Hieatt. Claimants had asked £39,495 and £BSO9 respectively and the City Council had offered approximately £13,600.
