CHRISTCHURCH HARMONIC SOCIETY.
It is satisfactory ;o be able to record the success of the youngest of the musical organisations in Christchurch. The Harmonic Society has firmly established itself in the affections of the music-loving people of the City, and so long as the members of the choir pull together and the standard of work is maintained, there ecems to be no reason to doubt that in fiiiure even greater success will be achieved. Next week's concert should prove to be the most popular that the Society has yet held. A higher standard of rnusio will be attempted than previously, and the programme will be more varied. Several dramatic choruses and partsongs and others of a semi-humorous character are included in the programme. In an advertisement elsewhere in thia iseue, the names of ths soloists for the forthcoming concert are given, together with soma of the works to be presented.
