Since greyhound racing has come to London nearly every antique shop is making a point of snowing in the windows small Staffordshire greyhounds. Some of these are original, but the vast majority are copies. A dealer states that a soon as greyhound racing arrived in London he was inundated with requests from all sorts of people for Staffordshire greyhounds. "People," the dealer continued, "and especially women who are interested in the racing, seem to have taken it into their heads to regard these little pottery tovs as mascots, and we can get rid of'them as fast as we like."
