Mr Ansell added: "We have had many,fights in our roading problems, and are continually up against a brick wall. This latest Act of the Government is probably the worst ever put across us by the present Government. We are determined that we will not tolerate it. The counties in the South Island* are entitled to receive from the motorists subsidies in accordance with their usage of the road."
