' NEW CANADIAN SCHEME,
(8T CABLB—PMM ASSOCUTIOK—COrSBTOHT.) ("the raaa.") LONDON, November 17. As a result of the Interprovincial Conference, the Canadian Government is embarking on a new and unrestrict~ ed migration scheme with Britain, based on nomination first by friends, and secondly, descriptive nomination, by which the employer applies for workers whom he wishes to settle in Canada. This involves a large increase in the migration staff. In London, responsible persons, organisations, and emigration societies, provided they are able to settle tne migrants, can carry out bulk nomination until May loth, 1928.
