ALLIANCE PROPOSED. (BI CABLE-PRESS ASSOCIATION—COWRIOKT.) (AUSTBALIAN AND N.J! CABLE ASSOCIATION.) CAIRO, November 17. In his speech in Parliament from the Throne, King Fuad said that Sarwat Pasha, during his visit to I?ndon, had engaged in conversation with the British Government, which had contributed to the good understanding between the two countries They also discussed the Sudan. If the two vepoints could be. reconciled might be possible to initiate negotiations for an Alliance between Britain and ETPt, which would permit Egypt to realue her complete independence and determine Egypt's relations with Britain These delicate conversations had been conducted in a spirit of friendship, and with a desire to reconcile l,heir respective standpoints.
