• "Ducks" were very plentiful in one of the B grade cricket matches at Auckland on Saturday, when the Y.M.C.A. team played North Shore. Eight of the Y.M.C.A. batsmen failed to score, one was absent, and extras contributed a single. Visions of a record small total were dispelled by the remaining two batsmen on the job. They hit to such good purpose that in the end 40 runs ■were recorded. , '•«
