CYCLE RACING.
VICTORIAN GRAND PRIX. (bt cable—prbss association—copyright.) (AUBTAAUAN AND K.Z CABLE ASSOCIATION.) (Received November 16th, 7.30 p.m.). MELBOURNE, November 10. The second fitago of the Victorian Grand Prix Eoad Eace, Wangaratta to Bendigo, 150 miles, resulted: H. Opperaian (8 hours 45 minutes 8 Bcconds), 1. H. Moody (8 hours 50 minutes 32 seconds), 2. P. Osbora (8 hours 57 minutes 36 seconds), 3. D. Anderson (8 hours 57 minutes 36 1-5 seconds), 4. Opperman lost eight minutes through a fall and a puncture. He took the lead at 110 miles. Opperman, Moody, and Osborn led at tho thirty-six miles, Watson being fourth. Machine trouble halted Watson. Rennie was thirteenth and Watson eighteenth after 68 miles, when Moody led. Opperman and Moody held the lead at 99 miles with Osborn next, then came Watson. Opperman streaked away in the last ten miles and won well from Moody. A great race for third place ended in Osborn's favour. Rennie was sixth and Watson seventh. A great reception was accorded Opperman, who was complimented bv Cr. Nicholson, of Bendie;o, for winning the first two stages. Opperman is first, leading Watson, who is second, by 44min 53 1-osec. The New Zealanders. Watson and Rennie, won the first stage of the teams' race, their time being 21hrs 25min osec.
