NATIONALISATION URGED. (PBISS ASSOCIATION TBLEOJUM.) WELLINGTON. November 10. The executive council of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants of New Zealand, at its quarterly meeting now in progress, passed a resolution drawing tho attention of members to the ever-increasing traffic secured by motors to the detriment of the railway service, which might affect the livelihood of some of the railway servants. The belief /was expressed that good results would be obtained if the employers reciprocated with traders who patronise the railways. The resolution urges on the Government the economic necessity of nationalising the transport industry.
