ANNUAL MEETING,
The annual meeting of the Xorth 'Cantobury Threshing Machine Owners' Association was' held yesterday, Mr G. W. R. Osborne presiding over Bn attendance of 35 member?. The annual report and balance-sheet, the latter showing a credit oi £l7 73 ad, were adopted. . Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follows:—President, Mr G. W. R. Osborne; vice-presidents, Messrs J. \V. .Olliver (Ashburton) and T. B. Jones (Hororata); eecretarv, ilr Y. Lill; executive, Messrs J. J. Matthews (Kangiora), H. Tallott (Cust), ■ G. S. Pcrvman (Lincoln!. J. Curragh (Teinpktonl, G. 'W. Jackson (Hawarden), A. Uroy (Erookside;, C. Gadd (L-ndburst). J. Mclutyre (Ashburton), • and V. McCrostie (C'l:ristciiurch). Matter 3 iii connexion with the Industrial Conciliation and Albifration Act Amendment Bill were taken in committee. A voite of thanks was passed to the officers for the services they had rendered during the year.
