LYTTELTON NEWS.
Personal. Mr T. Wales, West Lyttelton, is spending a holiday at Hanmer. West lyttelton School. A creditable record was put up by pupils of the West Lyttelton School who competed at the recent public schools' sports. Between them they secured five firsts, seven seconds, and six thirds. For a school with a roll of only 180 this may be considered an excellent performance. The competitors owe their success largely to the efforts of their trainer, Mr J. Parker, sen.
