Keeping an airship is expensive. The report issued by the House of Commons on the expense of two new British airships states that one of them is costing £350,000 and the other £400,000. But the cost of the airship is not all. The cost of the Bbed in which one airship will be housed is £145,000. The huge sum of £300,000 was spent on an airship shed at Cardington, andit is stated that it is going to cost another £IOO,OOO to make the shed big enough to house the neir ship.
