A Central Arabian Wahabi tribe, under the leadership of the notorious Akhwan, .a chief, attacked the Iraq frontier police post and killed five policemen and twelve labourers, including women engaged in construction, work. One policeman and a labourer escaped into the desert. A police force was dispatched and found the mutilated bodies. An Air Force squadron punished the tribesmen.
