DUTCH MIGRANTS.
NEW ARRANGEMENTS. (BT CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT.) (AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION.) SYDNEY, November 15. To test emigration to Australia of socially selected Dutch farmers, the Netherlands Government has arranged with the Commonwealth Government for the condition requiring migrants to have £4O on landing to be waived in favour of 200 Dutch farmers every year. In return the Consul-General has furnished a bond that these settlers will not become a charge on Australia for three months after landing. The age limit for the migrants has been fixed at between twenty and thirty, and they must have a working ■knowledge of the language.
