VIVISECTION.
A lecture on "Vivisection" was given in the Ha.ll last nighs by Mr J. A. Forbes. Th§ lecturer condemned vivisection as cruel to the suffering animals and degrading to the men practising it. He also quoted the written statements of English surgeons to the effect that experiments on animals were of little value as aids in the practice of surgery on human beings.
