SUNDAY CONCERT.
A concert organised by Mrs J. C. Holmes to purchase a, piano for a local reformatory was given at the Liberty Theatre last evening, before a full house. Amongst the performers were several members of the Gilbert and Sullivan Company. Songs were given by Messrs J. Shaw, M. Hilford, P. G. Gordon, Tooniey, Miss W. Brinbyes, Mrs U. 'Jamieson,' and. Mrs SUlland; Mr .T. Boschetti and Miss Walton gave a violin duet; Mr Lauronson recited, and Mr Mizen contributed a' whistling' solo. Mrs W. H. Ford acted as accompanist The takings totalled £l9 13s lOd.
