The Olympic cycle test race of ,120 miles unpaced, to decide if a rider in Australia is worthy of selection for the Olympic road race, resulted as follows: —Lamb ("Victoria) 1; Gould (New South Wales) 2; McWhirter (New South Wales) 3. Time, 6hrs Bmm -Representatives of all the" States competed. NEXT SATURDAY'S SPORTS. The weekly series of sports meetings being conducted at English Park Stadium will .be continued next Saturday night by the promoters, the North Canterbury Centre of the New Zealand Athletic,and Cycling Union. The following programme will be run:— Half mile open cycle handicap, one mile open cycle handicap, two miles scratch race, half mile amateur handicap, and 880 yds.flat handicap. If satisfactory arrangements can be made a motor-paced handicap race will be run. An announcement regarding this will be made to-morrow. The entries close with the secretarv, Mr: P. O. Lucas, on Wednesday.
