CLUB-SWINGING.
♦ ATTEMPT ON RECORD. j At eleven o'clock last night, Charles Buckett, who is making an attempt to establish a world's record of 72 hours' continuous club swinging, completed 43 hours of his endurance test. Buckett was tired out at three o'clock yesterday afternoon, but towards evening made a remarkable recovery, and late last night v- as confident of success. To entertain further the hundreds of people who are attending the Choral Hall to watch Buckett during the most severe hours of the trial, excellent concerts are arranged for different times during the day. The evening entertainments are particularly good. At eleven o'clock to-night, if he caD go on swinging the clubs, Buckett will have established a world's record —72 hours.
