MAGISTERIAL. FRIDAY. (Before Mr H. A. Young, S.M.) DRUNKENNESS. Joseph Sydney Williams, 43 years of age. did not appear in answer to a charge of having been helplessly drnnk in Cathedral square. m .„. Senior-Sergeant Fitzpatrick said Williams was suffering from "D.T.'s" as a result of too much drink, and asked for a remand of seven days for curative treatment. The remand was granted. Margaret Cecilia Hansbury was fined £3, in default 7 days' imprisonment, for drunkenness. CHARGE OF ARSON. Herbert William Carey, 23 years of age, appeared in answer to a charge of wilfully setting fire to a dwelling house situated at the corner of Bordesley street and Ferry road, the property of Josiah McClintock. Carey was remanded until Tuesday next on the application of the Senior-Sergeant.
