Fancy Dress Contest for Ladies To mark the Grand Reopening of "The Farmers" on completion of extensive alterations, Grand Parade of Competitors in Costume through our Store, and Voting for Prize Winners, On FRIDAY EVENING, DECEMBER 2nd, at 7.30 o'clock. CONDITIONS L Tie Competition is open to ladies of Christchurch and district. Entrance forms may be obtained at any of oar Piece Goods Departments. 2. The materials used in making the costumes entered in this Competition must have been purchased from "The Fanners'," and the cost not to exceed 15/-. S. Costumes must be suitable for wear to a Fancy Dress Carnival. 4. Charge dockets for materials purchased must be attached to entrance form. This must be filled in and signed by the competitor and returned to— THE DBAPEBY MANAGES, NJZ. Farmers' Co-op. Assn., Chrlstchurch, notiatcr *b*n Monday, November 28th. 5. The public present win be the Judgte, and prties awarded on popular vote. Scrutineers will be appointed to count the vote* and their decision must be accepted by competitors as final. 6. Ballot papers will be available, and distributed to all persons over 16 years of age in the establishment on Friday evening, December 2nd, prior to the commencement of the Parade. 7. Employees of The N.Z. Farmers' Co-op. are ineligible to compete, as also are professional Dressmakers. 8. Competitors will arrive in costume, a Cloak Boom will be provided. 9. Competitors will assemble in out Tea Booms on Friday Evening, December 2nd, at 7.30 sharp, where numbers will be issued, and Join in the Grand Parade through the Store, returning to the Tea Booms, where the results of voting will be announced.
