TIN-HARE BAN.
EVASION AT BRISBANE. (BT CABLS—PRiss -ASSOCUTIOK—COFTRIGHT.) (ACSTBALIAJT AND tf.Z. CABLI ASSOCTATIOK.) BRISBANE, November 11. Considering the use of tin-hares unlawful, the committee of the Kockhampton Agricultural Society substituted a dummy kangaroo for a hare. This was dragged round the course behind a motor-cycle. Betting was not allowed on the grounds, out while races were in progress, bookmakers left their stands and organised sweeps on them.
