PARIS DIVORCE MILL.

CHECK ON FOREIGN CASES. 'BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT.) (AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION) (Received November 10th, 7.30 p.m.) LONDON, November 9. Millionaires, film stars, and other American notabilities, who have taken advantage of the Paris divorce mill at the rate of twelve a week, will find that this method of solving their matrimonial troubles has been closed henceforward.

The Court of Cassation has decided that no French Court shall have jurisdiction in divorce cases where the Courts of the country in which the parties are properly domiciled are competent to act.

It also means an end of big fees for French lawyers amounting, sometimes, to £20,000.
