RADIO ON SMALL COASTAL VESSELS.

WASHINGTON, November 9. Mr Gibbs informed the Australian Press Association that the Mobile Service Committee of the Radio Conference had agreed that small coastal shjs trading exclusively on the New Zealand coast may be operated by officers holding special who certificates from the New Zealand Government. Such ships are not to participate in ceneral communications, but must carry wireless as a safety precaution.
